Final KBBPPS Advisory Workshop

The 3rd and last KBBPPS Advisory Workshop will present the final results of the project, discuss viability of the results, deliberate outreach and think about future developments. We invite all industry stakeholders, standardization experts, policy makers and other interested parties to join us in discussing the project results.

The workshop will take place parallel to the RRB conference “Renewable Resources & Biorefineries” on 2 June 2015 in York, United Kingdom. More information and registration is available here!

Past Events

The 2nd Open-Bio Advisory Workshop took place on 26 May 2015 at the CEN office in Brussels. Receiving great interest from policy, standardization bodies and industry, the room was its maximum capacity of 40 persons. All presentations are available on our Publications page.

On 7 April 2014, the 2nd KBBPPS Advisory Workshop took place in Cologne, Germany.
Stakeholders from industry, policy, standardization, labelling and consumer organisations were invited to share their input. For more information, please visit our event website.

On 9 April 2013, the 1st KBBPPS Advisory Workshop took place in Cologne. This workshop was the first of overall three advisory workshops that will be held within the KBBPPS project. The events aim at including stakeholders and experts from science, industry, policy, certification bodies and consumer organisations who have a part in standardization processes in order to consider all perspectives and create the basis for truly horizontal standards of bio-based products. 40 experts from industry, academia, associations and policy were involved in the lively discussions.

On 16 January 2013, the KBBPPS stakeholder workshop took place in Brussels. 35 experts from the industry consulted on the product list that should constitute the project’s research focus and discussed open questions.
